Umi is a 21 year old girl with a big dream: to be a successful singer; to be part of a band; and to tour all over Japan. Reality is far duller though: she lives a monotonous life with a boring job that she hates; her performances on the street fail to attract any attention; and her only company is Eustache, her seal plush. On the other hand, Iris is 24 and happy to be alone. She plays electric guitar and is very confident in her musical skills, but struggles to gain recognition online. When they unexpectedly become neighbors, will their shared love of music bring them closer together, or will their differences push them apart?
