After losing his job, a young man agrees to live with his mother in the village of Provence where she settled a few years earlier and where they used to spend holidays when he was a child. From there, the facts are undeniable. The quiet village of his memories has changed. Behind the facades of small typical houses, in the narrow streets, at the market, at school, new ways of dressing, a new language, new customs bearing different values have appeared. Will the young man find his place in this new society?
